Self-Catering
Accommodation - Long or Short Lets |
|
| |
You
may want to know why we chose these names for the Barns
- Rascal was the last working horse kept at Grove Farm
and his stable door tag was still in place before renovations
were started. A rascal is almost always accompanied by
a rogue! |

The
Accommodation
Both
barns are equipped to a high specification, with underfloor
heating, comfortable furniture and well-presented kitchens.
The open vaulted living rooms on the first floor have
exposed beams and a wood burning stove, TV/DVD player
are installed, as well as a CD/radio. Some games and books
are provided in each barn, together with a card table
for bridge players. There is enough china and glassware
to entertain two additional guests for a meal.
The double bedrooms, on the ground floor, have 'zip and
link' beds that provide greater flexibility for guests'
requirements. There is one 'en suite' bath/shower room
and a family bath/shower room in each barn.
Outside, both barns have a small patio area with table
and chairs for use in the summer months. The roses are
getting established. Guests may use parts of the gardens.
Off-road parking.
Prices: from £350 p/w (low season)
to £550 p/w (high season). Deposit payable in advance.

Entrance
porch (with log store for the wood burners, supplied for
small additional charge in winter months) and communal
laundry room to wash off muddy boots, dry wet raincoats
etc, as well as a large Maytag washer/drier for day to
day chores.
Mobile telephones are notoriously unreliable in this part
of Norfolk. Therefore, each Barn has its own telephone
for incoming calls, and outgoing calls can be logged through
the central system. (Bills to be paid before departure). |
